Dr. Vadhar is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has completed a fellowship in cornea, cataract, and laser refractive surgery. He is experienced in all types of corneal transplantation including partial thickness DMEK. Dr. Vadhar also specializes in cataract surgery utilizing the most advanced technology including astigmatism and presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses. He is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Nelson is the co-editor of the Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and has authored over 275 publications and 15 textbooks in pediatric ophthalmology. He is consistently listed as a Top Doctor in Philadelphia Magazine and Best Doctors in the U.S. Currently, he is the principal investigator of a major grant study on Nystagmus Surgery.
